Do you clean your ears with Q-Tips?

Kind of random but I read that you're actually not supposed to use q-tips for cleaning ears...I always have and always will because I stand stand the feeling once it's been a few days lol. Does anyone else use q-tips for their ears or do you only use them for their intended use?
