Will clomid still work if I didn't have symptoms?

I had symptoms but they were all way more mild than I had assumed they would be. I did have a few mild headaches, tender breasts and ovaries, overheating easily, slightly emotional. But everyone talks about what hell clomid is and it just wasn't too bad for me. I am thankful for it but also worried that it's not going to work since i don't exactly feel like my ovaries are going into overdrive or anything lol. Did you have symptoms, and did clomid make you ovulate?
