Please, somebody help me or I'm doomed. My daughter is a week old and has not once fell asleep on her own. She is either laying on my chest, or I am holding her when she falls asleep. AND she has to be in a deep sleep for me to put her in her bassinet. If I put her in it while she is awake, she will cry and cry. Of course I won't just let her cry, because that's not healthy at her age. Please, somebody give me some tips or advice. I'm 14, so I'll be going back to school soon and I need to sleep. any input (besides rude ones) are appreciated!
