how can I get him to help me with things?
I live with my fiancé and I love him to death. He's so supportive and lets me go to school while he works. I take care of the house, cook, clean, laundry, etc. I never ask him to help me with anything here unless it's something I can't move or do by myself, (like putting a new door up).
Whenever he comes home he just strips down where he stands and that's where his clothes lay. I constantly have to pick them up and I've asked him politely to put his clothes in the hamper. It doesn't happen. He leaves his dishes everywhere, clothes everywhere and garbage everywhere.
I believe in taking care of your man but right now I feel like his mom or his maid more than his fiancé constantly going behind him to clean up his messes. I feel like I can't get started on something else without having to pick up after him first. His mom always did everything for him laundry and picking up his garbage. I try so hard to keep our home clean and looking nice and it's like he doesn't care.
What do I do? Asking him nicely obviously isn't helping.
