If you had a good ultrasound and strong heartbeat, the chances of miscarriage at 10-12 weeks is really low, like less than 5% chance. We are announcing on Christmas Day, I will be almost 11 weeks. If you have a history of miscarriage, maybe waiting wouldn't hurt.

I will be 10 weeks exactly on Christmas Day (although baby is measuring a week big) and we still plan on announcing that day. We have had two miscarriages this year, and while I'm somewhat nervous, I also want to share and celebrate this baby. We have had 4 (I know its a lot) good ultrasounds so far and like someone stated, once you detect heartbeat the chances of MC go down drastically. Do whatever feels right. I'm praying for sticky, healthy babies!
