Baby items when do you start purchasing items?

How many months do you start buying baby items?

I only want to offer some advice: buy diapers&wipes while you guys wait! I wish I had thought to. :( haha. But you can also buy neutral colored bottles too, like clear avent bottles.

We bought the crib early cause it was on sale and gender wasn't a factor for me in choosing it. We didn't buy the first item till we knew if it was a girl or boy before that though. And we had one baby shower in early November and the other one isn't being done till some time in February when I'll be 34+ weeks.

My grandma and great aunts always make the pregnant women in our family wait until we are at least 6 or 7 months! They believe those months are just safer
