in law rant.

So my husband is a student right now working towards his HCI degree, and we live with his parents to cut down on costs and we pay rent. Not a lot, but we do contribute. Anyways his sister and brother in law are staying with us right now and it's driving me crazy! I am very conscious of the energy I use. I will try to limit the amount of heat I use to one room to that I will try to keep warm and I don't watch a lot of TV. Well, the SIL/BIL will come and stay for 2-3 weeks at a time and use the heat constantly, leaving it on when they're gone, and watch TV until 12 midnight. They jack up the electric bill super high, and we end up paying the difference. His mom knows why it's high, but she won't approach them because they probably wouldn't pay and would get offended. I pay because we don't pay a lot in rent, and can afford it, but I just get really frustrated that I pay for someone else to use the electricity... sorry, I just needed to rant. 😕
