Don't eat if you plan to induce. ๐
So, I was scheduled to get induced (for health reasons) Tuesday at 5am. This being my first pregnancy, I didn't know you're not supposed to eat after midnight and the nurse had failed to tell me. So I had my daily bowl of cereal and went in to get induced. Unfortunately, I was induced "slowly" because if they had started on a higher dosage then I would start contracting and wouldn't be able to get the epidural (thank the lord for that). So because of that, they waited to manually break my water at 3pm, had to wait an hour to get the epidural because the nurse who administers them was busy and didn't even start pushing until midnight. So much for having my son on the 20th. My handsome little man was born at 12:50am December 21 weighing 6.12 at 20 1/4". ๐ย
