So Ima try to make this short...I was having contractions since week 32 and they try to stop them since then,went to the hospital about 4 times and my cervix wouldnt cooperate so they try to stop it first with terbutaline and then they put me on nifedipine,contractions wouldnt stop at all so they put me on bedrest,every werk was another dissapointed week,I would have contractions(BH) and my cervix wouldnt pass the 1cm,I usually have hard times at dilating so I thought well Ima be miserable till 40+ weeks,at 37 weeks I had a grow scan and baby was measuring 3 weeks ahead and 8 lbs and since my previous labors were under induction and both my babies got stuck in the birth canal,and first one almost died,we decided to schedule a csection at 39 weeks to be safe,well at 38.2 me and mom went out and walked like crazy with no intentions of inducing labor,we were just last minute shopping,I get home and tell her how good I felt,I needed it a little walk,she looked at me like your crazy or what you were just miserable till yesterday lol,that night the real contractions started,first I couldnt sleep cause I was very unconfortable,I said ok this is what I normally feel like,lets try to sleep,slept for about 15 min and this got intense and more painful,I said alright I can talk and walk through them,this is just from the walking yesterday,yeah right it was already 12/22,Ima say it was about 2am when this contractions got real,I thought my back was going to break in half ,I never had this pain before and I have 2 kids!Everything made it worse but they were every 5 min,at about 5 am I said thats it,let me take a hot shower and see,as I was showering the contractions got even more painful and shorter,that when I said ok this is it,Im in labor!Washed my hair and my husband came to me and said we need to go!I said no,I was scared I was just going crazy so I called my doctor and he said you need to come now!!!!This is the real deal,got the kids ready,picked my mom up and dropped the kids at my husband's cousins,those were the longest 30 min of my life lol,as I get to the hospital my mom is trying to help me walk,I couldnt even walk,talk,I was screaming my butt off,so this very nice nurse who was leaving her shift ran,got me a wheelchair and took me down to triage right away,my doctor was waiting for me there so in less than 5 seconds I had 5 nurses in my room,they checked me and said your 5-6 cm and 90% effaced,I said what?I never dilate that much!He then comes in and asked what would I want to do,natural,induction or csection?He then again explained to me about the shoulder dislocation,which was a risk at this point but I was free to select what I wanted to do,I said lets do it,I wont put my son's life at risk ever again!They got me ready and once in the OR doctor checked again and in less that 1 hour I was already at 7 cm(yes I know I could have him natural)but honestly I wanted to do the best for my son and let me tell you that this people treated me beautifully,the csection took less than an hour!I was scared at first but now Im so happy I got it,he was born at 9:08 weighting 8 lbs and 20.5 inc long and hes a georgeous little boy!His name is Caleb and he eats a lot lol,Im sooo in love with this Christmas present from my God!
