Early this morning I had to go to the ER because I couldn't keep anything down. I'm not sure if I caught my toddler's stomach virus or 'morning sickness' is in full effect. They gave me several things for the nausea and stomach pain. I have had Zofran prescribed to me during my last pregnancy and he is healthy as can be. I have been given Finagrin before as well too, so I'm not really worried about the anti-nausea drugs as much as I'm worried about the Morphine. They assured me it was safe. I have never had pain medication this early on in pregnancy, I did during my last pregnancy due to kidney stones and that was in the 3rd trimester. It was only given once, but I'm worried about it harming development. I should have refused it, but it really helped with the stomach pain issues. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thankfully I'm feeling much better today.
