How do I know if this is what God wants?

I've been dating this guy and he was committed after only 2 dates and as a gay Mormon, I don't really feel attracted to him. And he's 11 years older than me which was already scaring me a little. I know from my blessing that the spirit will tell me who's right, but I haven't felt it, I don't think. How am I supposed to know what his will for me is?
