Is it normal to go a day without a text or a phone call from your SO? I don't want to seem to be the clingy type so I'm giving him his space. Usually I'm the first one to text and I want to see if he will be the one to reach out first. I'm curious to see if he will. It's been a while since I've been in a relationship and I want to make sure that I'm doing things this right way! Thanks for any advice! All of my serious relationships have ended badly with me getting hurt, so I'm trying my best to avoid that.

Some people need to talk everyday some people can go a day or two without talking it depends on them... I personally dont need to talk everyday i mean i will if they want to but i dont need to.. is he busy? Does he work? Some guys just dont like to use phones

Been with my guy 4 years. He usually messages me first. But sometimes I will. We both take different times to answer back. If we are busy. Sometimes it's immediate sometimes it's a day or two. During tax season I don't have time to pee yet alone have date night and he knows that. Just be patient.

Nah that's not normal girl. He should be talking to you everyday. Sounds like he might be childish. I wouldn't contact him until he does just to be petty.
