Anyone else concerned until first ultrasound?

I've read about blighted ovums and it worried me a little. I've tried to get pregnant for 12 years and I know this is a miracle from God. I feel bad for thinking about something going wrong but I can't help it.

It's hard not to worry about something going wrong but the best advice I can give is to not research all the things that can go wrong. I miscarried in June and I'm now 5w3days and had an ultrasound yesterday. This time I'm doing my best to not over think or Google anything..

I had a blighted ovum earlier this year. My progesterone was very low and my hcg at 5-6w wasn't doubling so they had an idea something was going wrong. First ultrasound we only saw the sac and they weren't definitely sure that it was a BO until the following week when my sac was the same exact size. But my hcg was almost 5000 and still rising slowly so I had morning sickness and tender breasts bloating etc. but my progesterone was .4 and I had spotting / light bleeding. If your progesterone and hcg are where they should be I wouldn't be concerned.

I am terrified and will be having a private scan done at an ultrasound center my last pregnancy ended right before Mother's Day this is my rainbow. My OB is so booked my appointment is not until 1/31 so I am lookin for someone who can see me sooner. I'll be a wreck until I see that little heart beat.

I feel it especially hard not to worry. My very first pregnancy was a miscarriage. Now this time I feel like I'm just waiting for the shoe to drop...but so far this one has been different and I'm hoping it stays sticky.
