I know that you all wouldn't know my personal situation but I'm in a dilemma about my labour/birth!?

I always had my heart set on having 3 people in the delivery suite with me...my fiancé, his mother and my mother. I have been told I can only have 2 people full stop.

My partner has a form of autism and doesn't cope well at all in stressful situations, he tends to freak out and his mom is really good and brining him down again.

He's often told me that he's worried to how he will react seeing me in labour and he's scared.

On the other hand I don't want my mom to miss this. It's her first grandchild.

I'm going to have to break it to one of them that they can't be there for the birth, despite me telling them that they all could.

Don't get me wrong they are not childish or petty at all so there's no danger of falling out with anyone, I just really don't know who to pick and what to say to them when I break the news.

What would you do?
