When people kiss your baby....

I have been on vacation for one week with my husband and 5 mo old son. I asked people that if they must kiss my baby, please on the forehead. Some people did not listen!! Now I woke up this morning with what I think is a cold sore and I always give my baby kisses 😔😔 I'm irate!! Now I'm stressing and looking for signs to appear on my son 😠😠

You didn't get the cold sore from other kissing your baby. It's a virus that you either have, or don't have. You'd have to be touching an open sore with your mouth to contract the virus from someone. I'm sorry though because I get them and they stink. Abreva works for me!

You have the cold sore? You didn't get it from your baby. Your baby would have had to have an open sore on their lips for you to get it. 
The virus can lay dormant in people. I'm pretty sure the statistic is 1 in 2 people have herpes simplex 1 virus, which is cold sores. Different things can make it become active like stress or hormone changes. 
If people won't listen to you about kissing baby then don't let them hold your baby anymore. Your the mom. You make the rules and if they aren't followed then the offender gets punished by not holding baby again.
