Hubby losing hope

I feel like ttc over a period of years has spoiled it for my husband.  Every time I think there's hope he's quick to shoot it down with "hasn't that happened before?"  I think he's trying to keep me from getting my hopes up, but it just sucks it's not a quick, easy adventure like it is for some.  I guess it'll make it that much more exciting when I can show him a positive one of these days☺️
