Okay I have a question. I'm living with my fiancé an obviously we are a couple. I heard that if you try to apply for food stamps and you are not married to your s/o that they will go after the father for child support. Is that true? I want to apply for food stamps because we are struggling but I don't want to if they will go after my fiancé because that would defeat the purpose and not help our situation.
