constipation and cramping

I'm 9 weeks and a few days and I have terrible constipation and bad cramps. It almost feels like period like cramps, but was told it's due to stretching this is my first time pregnant anyone else have this? I am seeing the doctor for my second sonogram on Monday and if all is well we are telling my family at our Hanukkah dinner! The cramps are making me nervous though 😳
