Cough Medicine for my 3m3w old?!

Is there anything I can give my 3m3w old son for a cough? His pediatrician is out til Tuesday.. help !

Use a humidifier, Vicks rub, and run your shower as hot as it'll go and sit in the steam with baby.

I know I'll probably get a lot of flack for what I'm gonna suggest, but I'm a southern girl and a toddy will help. About 3/4 cup of sweet tea, 1 tbsp of karo syrup (can't do honey till they're over a year old), 1/2 tsp of lemon juice & about 3/4 tbsp of whiskey. Mix it up & heat it just so the syrup will melt, then give them about 1/4 of it with a spoon for 3 nights. Good luck!!

Call the pediatricians office. Yes, I know it's a holiday but most pediatricians office have an on call pediatrician that will be paged and call you back. If your pediatricians office doesn't have an on call then I suggest looking into a practice that does.

My doc said zyrtec to dry up any drainage and honey to soothe the throat. But she was also one and I know they don't want you giving honey until they're older...
