What kind of thermometer are you using for your babies?

I am using Breuer forhead no contact thermometer but i have a feeling it is not very acurate. I've heard the rectal ones are the best for infants, what are you mamas using?

We have a pacifier thermometer which works well as long as baby doesn't spit it out before it's done getting a reading. We've also done the digital thermometer in the armpit.

We use the temporal one you slide across his forehead. So far pretty accurate. The times he has had an actual temp I double checked with rectal and it was within .1+/- degrees.

I don't particularly enjoy about the idea of sticking one up the butt of our little one, but it has less nerves and he doesn't complain compared to putting in the mouth for a very cheap price. It doesn't even need batteries or reading a manual.

For later on, I am waiting for my time of fun when he or she turns adult and is willing to put something in their butt for recreational purpose. I will still answer that it doesn't define their sexuality. After all, your dad likes when your mother tingle his spot, but he has never been touching another man. 
I am looking forward to see their faces at that time.
