I think we have opted to go the more "traditional" route and we will not be seeing each other before the wedding. I absolutely love the way the pictures turn out and I thinks it's an awesome idea. I just want to share that moment with everyone. :-) share pictures of you have them! ❤️

I like the idea but I want that heartstopping moment when the music is playing and I look up and we lock eyes. There is the bonus of have 2 photographers at the wedding.

We're not doing a preview, but we are doing the rehearsal the same day (some family lives an hour away, I don't want people wasting gas) I want everyone to see his face when he first sees at my best

As a photographer, a first look makes sense timeline wise! I’ve seen plenty of first looks that are so emotional and beautiful, but for my wedding personally, we are incredibly traditional so I wanted him to see me as the doors opened up for our ceremony!! These shots are everything to me, and I just LOVE the love on my husband’s face!!(And I added a few of our portraits, because I just really loved this day!!)
Over all, it’s the personal couple’s choice as there are pros and cons to each. Ask your photographer for his/her opinion and their experience and they will be able to advise you best, and tailor your timeline to your day, needs and vision.
