squirting

For those of you that know how/learned how to squirt, what was your first experience like? What does it feel like leading up to it? Any tips on how to do it myself? I would like to try to get myself to squirt and maybe eventually do it with my bf. He thinks it's hot and he's tried but I figure if I can figure it out by myself, then I can help him to get me to squirt.
