Breastfeeding jaundice

I am feeling so sad... my 9 day old has had jaundice since we left the hospital which is normal I know but the doctor today said that the levels are remaining constant since we took her out from the lights 2 days ago and he believes it is now breastfeeding jaundice instead of physiological jaundice... he wants me to pump for 2 days and feed her formula to supplement to see if that shows a difference in the levels.. I am sad to be missing out of the breastfeeding bonding for the next couple days and I am hopeful that giving her bottles will not throw a wrench in the great breastfeeding routine we have already
