What is the "normal"/"acceptable age to have kids

I was a mother at 16, do I say go out and get pregnant young to everyone? Hell no. But I'm grateful for my children.

I don't think there is a normal or acceptable age. An eighteen year-old that's financially stable and mentally capable will make a better mother than a 30 year-old with no income that would rather party than take care of a child.

Society probably says 25-35 but I say that's stupid. Have a baby when you're ready. Being a certain age doesn't determine whether or not you'll be a good mother.

I think the most common or better said... acceptable among most people would be over 25..however I'll be 21 june30th & my baby is due april8th.

I'll have my first when I'm almost 24 and people still say that's too soon. I think as long as you can provide for the child financially and mentally and provide it with love and a great place to grow up, you're ready. Babies are a blessing no matter what.

I was 19 when we started trying. We were ready. Unfprchunatly it took a long time to conceive and we ended up having my son when I was 21. I'm glad I started early, and I'm not on birth control right now, my son is 10 months and none has been used and I'm not pregnant again. Some people find it their fertility isn't as good as others and they find out later in life when it's a bit too late. I'm glad I found out early and I'm glad I know I'll need alittle doctors help next time around and I'm happy I won't try for 2+ years and seek help when I'm in my 30s and find out my chances are lower than normal
