Mesh crib liners. Necessary or not??

I got a mesh one however after talking to a pediatrician, they advised not to use it until about 4-6 months old due to there still being a risk of suffocation. They said also you don't have to worry about them moving and getting their arms or legs stuck until about time. So I have one but am not going to actually put it on until she is old enough

I got a breathable mesh crib bumper for our daughter only because I'm paranoid she'll hit her face off the bars haha

Necessary, no, but if you want a bumper then that's the kind to get. I like to prevent them getting their little arms and legs in there, even if they don't get stuck, it still takes time for them to learn how to get them out.

I won't be putting them on his crib for awhile... but I've heard the mesh ones are currently the safest if you plan on using a bumper!
