How/where do you plan to give birth?

I fucking applaud the women who give birth at home and/or with zero medication because I can't even handle period cramps.

I really wanted a birth center, but we have none in our area. Our local hospital closed, so I don't feel super comfortable with a home birth though I'd really like one. Mostly I'd be afraid of paying a home midwife, then having to deliver at a hospital anyway and also having the hospital bill to pay.

My first was born in a birth center. This one will be at home if all goes well. There is no difference here other than location-- the midwives are the same as attended me before, and they bring the same equipment. The only reason I used the center was because of local laws and which state my house was in at the time.

I'm so intrigued by water births and I think they're beautiful. I'd love to give birth in the water but I'm not sure if I'll be able to when the time comes. So, if that's not an option, hospital it is.

Home, and I want a midwife.

When it happens I'd want to be at home. I'd be so much more relaxed there, I don't think I would feel as anxious. Plus I work in a hospital and would hate to be a patient there. If I was told I was high risk or something then obviously I wouldn't but ideally I'd be at home
