ovulation test as a pregnancy test?

How accurate is this? & how many dpo can you do it? I feel like I'm going a little crazy 😜 thanks for the help!

LH is always present in your body and fluctuates after ovulation. It may raise and lower a lot during the TWW. LH strips may turn positive while you are pregnant but you would be able to turn a HPT by that point. It's not reliable at all. A better option is just to buy a bunch of the cheap strips instead of getting your hopes up from a positive OPK.

I got a line at 8dpo on a cheap HCG strip. I tried a LH test at 10dpo and it was still negative.

If you get a crazy positive opk when you know you aren't ovulating there is a chance you could be pregnant. Obviously it's not a for sure thing. But it did direct me to take an hpt in my last pregnancy.
