How do you do a cervical mucus check, and how do you know the opening your cervic is in?

I wear panty liners so that's how I know what my cm is. I gave up on feeling for my cervix.

The cervix feels sort of like a donut when you reach it. Except the center is obviously not hollow. It's straight up, as far as you can go...last thing in vagina before the uterus. When you gently touch around it and at the center, you will accumulate cervical mucus.

For mucus, after I go to the bathroom, I wipe and then put one foot on the toilet and insert my index finger as far as I can. I haven't figured out what I'm feeling cervix wise though. Two days ago, I knew I felt it because it was super low and open. That was the first time I could tell for sure it was cervix
