Anyone try Acupuncture?

I have been researching this and it seems to really work. Anyone try it and also have you tried other  Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as herbs? I hear that you can only get them by prescription here.

When do you ladies do the acupuncture? My doctor said that they typically do it at the start of your cycle before ovulation.

I did weekly acupuncture and took daily maternal herbs for 5 months. It didn't help me conceive, but I learned a lot of useful information about my body and cycle. My acupuncturist  Recommended some great books, diet changes, and bbt charting advice. My insurance only covered some of the appointments, so I couldn't afford it anymore. Very relaxing though! I haven't tried it for TTC, but it does seem to work for other stuff. Like lessening pain and what not. In Oregon you don't need a prescription for Chinese medicine. 
​But I think it would be worth a shot to try for fertility!

Thank you, ladies! I see that many of you are getting this right now, and it is helping you to ovulate and regulate your cycle. I was told that I don't ovulate on one side, so I think this would be the perfect treatment for me. Best of luck to all of you! Baby dust to you.

I was in the same boat as Kasey, I finally ovulated after going to Acupuncture for only a month. It had been 2 years since I last ovulated. It's only a matter of time until I get my BFP! I feel fantastic after every visit. I strongly suggest it.

I have been doing acupuncture for 9 months now and it has taken me from amenorrhea to ovulation! From extremely long cycles to increasingly more normal cycles! I got pregnant for the first time last month but lost it... Each month I'm having stronger ovulation and healthier periods, now I believe it's only a mater of time! I totally recommend it but stick with it long enough to see the effects! They say to give it 3 to 6 cycles, I'm on cycle 4. Good luck!!!

I have had five treatments so far and I love it. Not sure if it's making a difference but it is so relaxing...it is very therapeutic.

I just had my second round of fertility acupuncture yesterday!!! It's incredible! If you decide to go, make sure you know the ins and outs of your cycle! Ovulation date and start taking your BBT!!! It's so relaxing and just takes away all the day stress :)))
