First orgasam???

So I just had sex for the first time in 8 months (I had willingly taken a break from sex for a while). This was not my first time having sex with him and the last time we had sex it wasn't so hot. But this time there was a moment wen my whole body started to convulse and him being the caring person that he is, also just finishing, pulled out and I was frozen laying there on my back legs still hiked up and all I could do was shake and my legs wouldn't stop at all. This is the first time I've ever been shaking that much. So was that an orgasam? And have I been depriving myself of them for my whole sexual career because, usually when I get close to that I push them away cus it's way more than I can and have had to handle. Can anyone shed light onto my situation?
