How long do mothers plan to breast feed?

Just curious what you ladies think about breast feeding and how long you plan on doing it?

I have been exclusively breast feeding my LO for 14 months now. I let her guide me and she now only feeds at nap time and before bed. Most time babies let you know when they are over it. Lol. We are getting there. I plan to let her self wean.

My first i breastfed 18 months and then found out I was pregnant again. My 2nd I breastfed 2 years, he weaned himself. TTC #3, I will let this one self wean too.

Im still breast feeding my first (16month old) and slowly weaning her off feeds in day, down to about 3 feeds in day and two at night,  but will continue till shes ready or when shes about 2 ish for my comfort level.

i had the goal of 12months with my girls
#1 self weaned at 9months
#2 made 12months so I aimed for 24, but I needed medication that I didn't want to pass on to her so i weaned her at 22months
#3 I made the 2yrs and she's now 3yrs and (almost) 4months....
I don't think I'd feel comfortable going over 3yrs (but have nothing against other mums doing so if their child and themselves are happy to do so)

I breast fed for 1.5 years. Next time we have a baby I will try to hit 2 years.

I was hoping to breastfeed for 12 month, but I was only able to for 2 months and had to suppliment as well. 
If you are up for it, go as long as you can't, but don't put pressure on yourself or let others if things don't work out as planned.

I was only able to for 2 months last time for many reasons, hoping to breastfeed from 6-12 months this time.

Ive been breastfeeding my lo for 18 months...and loved every bit...but now im like I miss my boobs n body, starting to wean slowly but surely :-)
