Big Sister-Little Sister

Gunce • Head of research at Glow. Unwilling infertility expert. 2 kids after 6 IVF treatments.

My little sister (who is 35 btw) is my best friend. My relationship with her is one of the most rewarding and wonderful things in my life. As I was hanging-up with her today after one of our daily chats - a thought occured to me - What about all the women out there without sisters?

I mean:

Who hasn't wanted a big sister - someone you can ask all your embarrasing questions to? And really talk about stuff, without fear of judgment.

And who hasn't wanted a little sister - someone you can guide and help? Who lets you see life from a different perspective?

Sooooo....

FIND YOUR BIG SISTER - LITTLE SISTER HERE!

The way it works is simple. Post on this thread a little about yourself:

"Hi, I'm Amy. (Age 16). I'm a junior. I have a BF and a lot of questions. I'd love a Big Sister"

or

"Hi, I'm Kayla. (Age 23). Recently married and TTC. I'm here to be a big sister to anyone who needs help."

Then - when you find yourself a match - please create a new thread:

"Kayla's Little Sisters."

Few quick rules.

1. Big sisters must be at least 21 years old.

2. Big sisters can at most have 5 little sisters. (Any more would be too much).

3. Please do not give any medical advice.

I know that it is a bit cheesy. But I think if this works, it will be an amazing avenue of support for the many young women on Glow.

So please come and join. Sisters are amazing.
