SO asking for nudes....need advice please

I'm 18 and my partner is 25. We've been together for 8 months (LDR) Yesterday while we were on the phone, he asked me why I don't send him pictures of myself and I explained that I'd rather we video called. Which we never do because he's always busy with work. He then continued to ask me to "send nudes right now" and I told him no!

He then hangs up on me (which he always does when he's angry and doesn't want to talk it through...)

I literally started laughing because I'm a really stubborn person and I don't like to take any crap from anyone. I don't know if that's a bad thing?

Am I in the wrong for being like this?? In normal relationships sex and nudes is a have to and I don't like both of them. I just like that I have someone that's with me to go through life together (if you know what I mean)

I was hoping he'd contact me back but then he didn't. This was yesterday afternoon by the way. I don't know if I should contact him back today or just leave him alone for a couple of days.

What should I do? He's my 2nd partner and someone that I have lost my v card to. Am I being immature and not acting my age??

I don't have anything against sending nudes, I just don't trust the internet and where those pics might end up..
