Sexually attracted when protective over not?

Really random question. Do you feel more attracted to your man emotionally and physically when he's kinda and protective and caring. I know I do. But when he's mean or distant I just don't feel sexually attracted as much. I love him so so much and he's the hottest man around. But when he's mr. Man I'm just like take me now! Is that normal?
