If you had to choose, would you rather only ever be a mother or only ever be a wife?

If you choose mother, you can have as many children as you desire but you can never have a long term partner of any sort.  If you choose wife, you will have a committed and fulfilling marriage for the rest of your life, but you can never be a mother through any means.

Your children eventually grow up and leave ...your spouse is your best friend and partner for life. If we never had kids, I'd be heartbroken, but not as much as I would be without him...

I wouldn't trade the love from my husband for any thing, maybe because I don't have kids so I haven't experienced the love they have to offer yet. I would be devastated if we couldn't ever have kids, but, it's for better or for worse, right?

I choose marriage because though i want children, you must understand that children will grow and pursue their own lives and leave you behind while a fulfilling marriage leaves you with a life long partner. My husband has been my rock throughout our marriage and emotional support through our ttc difficulties

I just hope everyone choosing marriage don't choose marriage over kids in an abusive relationship. My mom did that and she regrets it everyday of her life.

I don't ever want to lose my husband. He made my life complete before conceiving our son. That being said a part of me would still be missing if I couldn't have children. The thought of children were always in the back of my head. I only wanted marriage when me an my husband became serious.
