bassinet, Moses basket, or neither?

Question

FTM here.  I've been debating on whether or not to get a bassinet or a Moses basket, or neither.  The nursery is right next door to our bedroom and I was planning on just putting baby in the crib from day one. I do plan on nursing and am so used to getting up every few hours now to use the bathroom, that I wonder how much difference it would make if we get a bassinet or basket. Any thoughts/ideas from STMs? TIA!! xoxo

I will keep a bassinet next to my bed.
 Baby is connected to you for 9 months and I think is shame to leave baby in the crib by him self with out mothers connection in different room.
That's how I see it.

Pack and play with attached bassinet and changing station. I just had a hard time spending money on something that would last a month or two. This way, it will grow with the baby. That was in the back in our head with all big purchases.

We used a pack n play with bassinet for our first. This time we are in a dif place and our room is smaller so my friend is letting us borrow her rocker sleeper (below). This will help too if your baby has bad reflux or anything because it's an incline. (Our first had it really bad ugh!) We switched her to her own room at 2 months so if that is your plan and what you feel is right then do what works best for you and your baby.

I m getting a co sleeper; we have a bassinet; but that is just for nap times when my mom comes over and is watching her.
We co slept with our last angel; and will be doing a mixture of both and using an in bed co sleeper and an arms reach.
It's sooo much easier to breastfeed when te baby is in the same room as you^^

I was going to co sleep, just in bed, but my hubby and I are in a double and I think it'll be too cramped.. :( due to the size of our room and living situation, I think we're going to end up going with a Moses basket! Or in my case: my yarn basket! Lol our mattress is currently on the floor, so baby will just be in a basket next to us..

I got a bassinet for our bedside, that's what we are gonna use the first few weeks/months.

thank you for all of your responses!! I'm still debating but I think we may get a bassinet for the first few nights/weeks until we get used to a feeding schedule. I think we'll just have to experiment and see what works best.

I am personally using neither; but we also have a bassinet for when he takes nap.
But we are mainly using an in bed co sleeper😊
