AF after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage on December 1, 2016. My doctor said AF should rear it's head in a few weeks. Two weeks ago my levels were at 22 and I'm hoping today's blood test shows a zero. I'm wondering how long it took others to get their period and if it came before or after you hit 0 HCG?
