Yes it most definitely is. What reason do you have to even chat with strange men online? There is no reason to do that. Physically its not cheating, but its emotional cheating which is WAY worse

This isn't really a yes or no answer for me. No I wouldn't call it physical "cheating" but it is emotional cheating and I would have a hard time trusting my significant other if I found out he was talking to other girls online.

That depends entirely on what your chatting about, actual  friendship just shooting the breeze then no, but friends can turn into romance if you open yourself up to much so i can see if the otherhalf maybe jelouse over it maybe feels like u confide in someone else more then them

It depends on your relationship. You should discuss it with your SO and decide as a couple what is OK and what isn't. For me, cheating is the lying. Since I am ethically non-monogamous, I'm fine with partners chatting, flirting, sleeping, and loving others as long as they are open, honest, and safe about it. But if they lie or break our ground rules, THAT is cheating.
