MAJOR TMI--- I got a wart frozen off my toe with liquid nitrogen two days ago, and this is what it now looks like. It's EXTREMELY painful, and basically turned into a giant blood blister.....is this normal?? And what can I do to relieve the pressure/pain?

Update: went to urgent care and the doctor said it was a hematoma. She drained it with a needle/syringe and got most of the fluid out, and then cut out the rest of the wart/dead skin with a scalpel to prevent infection. Now have a pretty sizable hole in my toe, but got rid of the pressure and constant pain. The Dr said it's very good I came to get it drained. Thanks for the advice, everyone!

Umm..did the doctor freeze it off? If not, go get it checked out because I don't think any of the girls here will know what to do. Good luck!

Hello! Personal experience here: my brother had multiple warts frozen off his fingers and this exact thing happened to him. We contacted the doctors and they said it's normal. They had to do an aggressive procedure for the warts and this is how they anticipated the skin would react. It's just very frozen burnt skin that will come off and you shouldn't need to worry 😙 I hope you feel better soon!

I've had warts frozen and they've blistered but never have they turned black :/

Duct tape works well to remove warts! I did it once and it took all my warts off on both feet!
