The first time having sex at 4 weeks, I had some brown discharge show up the next day. It freaked me out, but went away. However, I still get a bit nervous when the husband wants to be intimate. It's perfectly normal to have a bit of discharge after sex, and it won't harm the baby in any way.

Sex is safe at any point in the pregnancy as long as the Dr says it's ok. It's usually ok as long as you aren't high risk or have complications.
