missed a few

I am usually always good at taking my pill, but with the craziness of the holidays a missed a couple during the time this app said I was ovulating. I've been having crazy mood swings, my face broke out, cramps and spotting for 2 days that was very brown in colour. Is this most likely because I missed the pill and it messed things up or is it possible these are pregnancy symptoms?
