Stay at home moms , How do you do this ?

Hi ladies I just had my baby boy about 6 weeks ago and unfortunately we have not been able to find child care here in island in Hawaii . Which means I now have to stay home . How do you ladies cope with being at home all day , I mean I try to leave the house but there is only so much to do with a newborn and we have no family here( military) . How do you ladies deal with not getting depressed or just keep your sanity?  I love my child more than anything I was just looking forward to returning to work . I don't have much friends here other than the ones me and my husband both have and non are moms. Any suggestions or advise for a newly stay at home mom?

I remember how hard it was at first and it can get really lonely. There are lots of different mom groups on FB for military spouses...especially here on Oahu. Check out stroller strides if you like to work out. You can make some mom friends and have your little one with you. There are also lots of play groups that are newborn friendly. :)
