Are there any positive twins and multiples articles out there?!?

Question

I'm legit terrified of being pregnant with twins now and I'm not even 14 weeks! I'm trying to educate myself and be prepared for this twin pregnancy and raising twins..but i come away from every article more and more terrified.
At this point, I've got some strong buyer's remorse.
 I feel like I'm either gonna lose one of the babies...lose both of the babies.... Suffocate while sleeping, die during my scheduled c-section from hemorrhaging, or die after giving birth from a blood clot traveling to my lungs.

Like ugh?!? Is there anything that can keep me informed without the doomsday or super sugar coating anything?

So I had my twins a month ago and share in an effort to maybe give guy some relief in a twisted way... I was terrified and up until the second they came out really didn't want two... pregnancy sucked- had morning sickness till 20 weeks, on insulin for diabetes starting at 15 weeks, my pelvis/vagina swelled and I could barely walk the last 4 weeks, preeclampsia protocol for the duration, the list goes on and on... not to mention those damn articles talking about how my twin will die and/or disappear.  really it all sucked, but in the end and there are two amazing creatures that you created. Now I would do it all over again to have them. And as hard as people say two is- it is not that bad... so things get a bit more smelly and sleep deprived, but it is all worth it. Trust me. I know what you mean! Currently 10 weeks 1 day with MoDi twins and there are plenty of horror stories but there are also plenty of stories about perfect pregnancies with multiples with no complications and even going full term! Prayers for all us multiples mommies ❤

Hello..take it one day at a time hun and dont stree yourself...i have 7wk old twin boys and im a ftm..my pregnancy went well no complications and i had a successful c section at 38wks...twin life is not easy but you'll learn as u go..trust me i did..this was my first pregnancy and im doing this all alone but i thank god for my little ones and cant imagine life without them

I had a complication-free twin pregnancy, and my twins were born perfectly healthy at 37 weeks via an induced vaginal delivery, but I did have some issues with birth and afterward (long time for twin B to decend and I lost too much blood, which resulted in some scary moments and a transfusion the next day). BUT when I asked my doctor if that was common or likely to happen again, he said no and that it was extremely rare. In fact he had never had any other deliveries like mine in 20 years, and he's delivered countless multiples. So take the articles you read with a grain of salt and rely on your provider for info about what is normal and common.

I have 11 year old twin boys and it's not easy in the beginning but it gets so much better! I had absolutely no help when they were babies and my ex husband was never around. I was pretty much a single mom. They are now happy, smart, athletic, amazing and extremely handsome 6th graders and I wouldn't trade them for anything in this world ❤

Don't stress out! I have 9 month old twins and it has been the most amazing experience for me! I was so nervous, anxious, and worried, but I didn't need to be. As a mom you will figure out what to do and you're the best parent for them! I was terrified I'd have my twins early, esp since I'm only 5ft tall.  I didn't have my twins until 38 weeks,  no one could believe it! Twin pregnancy is not easy,  but your body was made for this! The first few months after they're born are rough,  but it goes by so fast. Just feed them at the same time and accept help! I absolutely love being a twin mom and wouldn't change it! I swear if I were to have more kids I'd want twins again!

Look into twin mom groups in your area. In Australia, we have the Australian Multiple Births Association and they have chapters in different regions. I joined at the beginning of my second trimester and even though I haven't been to a meeting yet, just being part of their Facebook group has really helped me see the excitement in all of this. Because it is definitely hard sometimes! The chapter in my area is really big so there are other pregnant moms, moms of infants, toddlers, etc all the way up to adults.

Wow I know what you mean! All I heard was it's going to be so hard, how will you do it? But my twin pregnancy went a lot smoother than my singleton. Yes, they did come early . But they are healthy 1 year olds now! I wouldn't have it any other way. Having twins made me become a much more organized person and I feel like I can take on the world. For example today I went to the mall of America with my 6 year old and my twins. We stayed for around 4 hours at the mall. I had no help but managed on my own. Everyone wants to know I can do it by myself, I fell

I understand where your coming from. I'm 22 weeks with twins, and I was already over weight when I got pregnant and so everyone thought I would have lot of problems and be on bed rest early but all three of us couldn't be healthier. And I have no restrictions about anything except for the normal foods you shouldn't eat and drink lots of water. Our bodies are made for this rather you think it or not! Your body will change so it can support you and your babies. But try not to stress so bad because that isn't good for you or the babies!
