False negative stories?

I'm 11 days late and have had 4 negative pregnancy tests. I've never missed a period and have only had a late period once or twice.  I've heard of people that had negatives almost 3 weeks late, anyone experience that? I'm confused and don't know what to do.

The only next step that can give you a for sure answer is to go to the doctors and they'll send you for blood work. Some women produce less of the hcg hormone than others in the beginning so it's harder to detect on a urine test. You may also just not be pregnant. A lot of things and cause a late period, even if it's never happened before - weight loss or gain, new medication, stress, hormonal imbalance/deficiencies, etc.

One of my aunts had a false negative, but that cousin is now in his 30's, so I am sure tests are better now! But I second the blood testing!
