I have been having pain in my lower right pelvic area. It comes and it goes sometimes it is on my left side. I went to a gyno about a year ago for this because my periods were out of wack and i noticed this pain becoming more severe around the time i have my periods. We had discussed pcos and endometriosis. She told me she doesnt believe its pcos but she said she wanted to try BC first to see if it helps the pain with my periods, she recommended the iud so i got that put in i have had it for a year and it seemed to help the pain at first because i wasnt getting my period, but now when i do get my period I have severe cramps its unbearable. I am going make the appointment to be tested for endometriosis. To those of you who have been diagnosed how were you diagnosed/ how do doctors test for endo?
