I had my navel pierced in September a few weeks after my wedding, then by the end of November, we found out we're pregnant. I'm loving my jewellery and I don't want to let the piercing close up during my pregnancy, because I've heard there is pregnancy jewellery available that has a flexible rod which is longer than the traditional metal rods. This is supposed to make it so that the ring doesn't damage or eject from the pierced skin.

Anyone else keep their navel ring throughout their pregnancy?

I've been laughing thinking about how weird the ultrasound techs will think it is when I'm 8 months pregnant with a navel ring still in.
