When did you baby start getting teeth? My little guy is only 7 weeks and has starting tething and you can see tooth buds. I'm tripping out bc i thought it was way early for that.

1) drooling is not indicative of teething. It's a digestive milestone that starts between 8 and 12 weeks.

2) chewing is also not teething. It's exploring their world the only way they know how. Putting things in their mouths continues long after teething. It's very normal.

3) most commonly the first tooth appears at 6 months. It's obviously possible to get them early, but the average is 6 months

I thought that at first. But you can feel and see the two front teeth just below the gum. One has a point that is starting to pop through. Also has been super fussy this last week. Hasn't mastered putting hands in mouth and has been scratching the crap out of his face trying to get his hand in his mouth.
