If it is your first, I say go for it! Especially if the grandparents don't already have a bunch of grandkids. Otherwise, maybe a gender reveal and a "sprinkle " with close friends and relatives. Every baby should be celebrated, but you can only ask so much of people. You know your inner circle best, though, so if they are up for it, go for it.

If it is your first yes to both... if it is not you first and it's the same gender within 4 years no shower just a reveal. Opposite gender, both.
