Two sacs one baby?!

Question

So my sister is 15w2d we went to her first ultra there was clearly one baby with one sac. We went for a gender ultrasound today and now there is 2 sacs but we still only see one baby!  I know is super super rare but do you think it's possible that she got pregnant while pregnant? Or more likely the doctor just didn't see the sac the first time?  We're freaking out waiting for the doctor to call back, any thoughts?

I'm confused... are you the one who thinks you are seeing two sacs? Why would you need to wait to have the doctor call you back? If there were two sacs visible the doctor would explain that during the ultrasound. I'd say it's more likely you are looking at placenta and thinking you see something else.

I saw a case on a TV court case. Dad was filing for a paternity test on the darker twin who was born 2 weeks early but mom wouldn't allow such test. Judge went ahead and ordered it and it turned out one baby was his and the other wasn't. Doctor on the show said its very very rare but there are women who can ovulate twice in one month even after 1 egg has been implanted! Wife admitted sleeping with someone else after she had a fight with her husband 😳😳

I've heard of it being twins and not caught the first time and the second baby died and the sac is still there. Hope that's not the case

My friend was conceived while her mother was pregnant with her brother. So, it ended up with him born on time and her two weeks early. It's super rare, but possible.
