tonsils getting taken out

So im getting my tonsils taken out soon. I was told they usually send you home with Tylenol. I was just wondering, what medications did they give you?

My doctor said they dont like to give oxycodone due to people getting addicted to it but that is honestly the only pain medicine that helps me. I do not abuse it or get addicted to it.

Im terrified to get them out!
